The VI International Seminar’s main theme will be “Retail, Consumption and the New forms of Urban Governance”.

THEME

This edition of the seminar has three main objectives:

 

1. to continue the development of an international research agenda already explored in previous editions of the event, enriching it with new approaches and case studies;

 

2. to discuss, with researchers from different disciplines and geographical contexts, the conceptual and methodological challenges faced by research on the changes of consumption and retail landscapes in the contemporary city;

3. to discuss, with academics and stakeholders from the public and private sphere, problems and challenges that planning and the management of commercial systems face today, in order to improve its resilience and contribute to the sustainable development of cities.
